Membership Benefits
The main benefit of joining the Harford Ski Club is to ski/snowboard. We have members who range in ability from the bunny slopes to double black diamond, extreme cliff jumping. We have a bulge in the middle. That is to say a good portion of the club spends a lot of time on the blue slopes. The common thread among our members is that we like to ski/ snowboard. Sure we party. But unlike some other clubs with the word 'ski' in their name, we get to the slopes everyday.
We run a complete range of trips. From day-trips to our local ski resorts, to week
long trips out west or to Europe, to weekend trips to New England or other east coast resorts.
We include many of the necessities, such as lift tickets, in our price. Some of our trips even include many extras including meals, movies for
bus trips, door prizes, and your lift ticket handed to you before the lifts are running
and without standing in line.
We meet on the second Thursday of each month from October through March.
We also have a picture party in April to share your skiing photos and see what trips you wish you could have gone on.
We do have several events that we do during the off season (summer) like picnics and shrimp feasts, going to Aberdeen IronBirds baseball games, and WhiteWater rafting trips as well as the recent addition of week long bike/barge trips to Europe.
You do not have to live in Harford county, or even in Maryland to join our club and go on our trips. We regularly have members that go on our trips from North Carolina, Florida, and Minnesota.
