Ski Trip Report
And a good time was had by all at this popular destination. We stayed at Dostal's again and, again, the rooms were OK but the food was superb! The weather was a little cantankerous. We had frigid temps Saturday and Sunday (but great snow!) and a ski-your-buns-off day on Monday. Right - departure day. But everyone on the trip reported a good time and agreed they would return again.
We had a new bus driver from Red Lion Bus Company, Terry. Terry was personable and accommodating - a fitting representative for our friends at Red Lion.
We are happy to say that some of our new members won bus prizes. That always makes for a warm welcome. Welcome to new members Brian, Nupie, and his son, Max, and to Michele, and her son, Dean. I would like to note that Michele said that she wanted to find a ski trip from the DC-Baltimore area for that particular weekend and, according to the BRSC web site, we had the only one! Yea, for the BRSC and, yea, for Tom M. and the great job he does maintaining our web site.
Although we had a little trouble finding the Pizza Hut in Albany - AGAIN - we did enjoy a plentiful pizza supper on the bus homeward bound. Thanks to all who participated. You helped make this the wonderful weekend it was.
