2004 Seven Springs, Pennsylvania
Ski Trip Report
I have to admit I wasn't initially excited about leading a trip to Seven Springs. I expected short runs, a lot of ice, slow lifts, long lines, crowded slopes, maybe even plagues of locusts...Boy was I wrong, and pleasantly surprised at what a great place this was for a short, 2-day trip! The runs were much longer than I expected, they had several 4 and 6 person lifts, the snow conditions were good, there were very few people on a Thursday/Friday, the food was great, and the rooms nice. And in our lodge could be found a roller skating rink, bowling alley, gym, pool, hot tubs, shops, restaurants/bars, live music/dancing at night, miniature golf - and all within 100 yards of the slopes!
With our normal driver, Mike, retired, we had Bill at the helm...great guy, and for sure to be requested for any of my future trips! He even considered skiing for a day, but said his company frowns upon it. Gee, I wonder why! (He was funny, saying that if he broke his leg, what's the big deal....he could drive us home with one leg in a cast just as easily as 2 legs!...great attitude!)
Thank you to everyone that went, and hope you enjoyed the trip as much as I enjoyed it!

PS Did you know that Seven Springs lost all of their snow - due to several days of rain and warm weather - 4 days before we arrived? We were very fortunate, since returning cold temps and great snow making capabilities enabled them to quickly recover and provide us with very good ski conditions in a very short period of time. And if we thought a high of 19 degrees both days was a little cold, the day after our return - HIGH OF 4 DEGREES!

Sorry Bob! This is the only picture I have of the Seven Springs trip.
